Draft — last updated 15 October 2026 · pending legal review
This Privacy Policy explains how Leucojum (“we”, “us”) processes the personal data of visitors to leucojum.com (the “Site”), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”). It covers this Site only: individual projects and services, including those published on subdomains of leucojum.com, may process data under their own terms.

Leucojum, based in Bologna, Italy, is the controller of the data collected through this Site. For any request about personal data, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect
Technical browsing data: when you visit the Site, the hosting provider and the content delivery network (CDN) automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser and device type and pages visited. It is used to serve the Site securely and to prevent abuse.
Contact data: if you write to us (for example at [email protected]) we receive your email address and the content of your message.
No registration is required and the Site uses no analytics or tracking tools.
3. Cookies
The Site sets no cookies. We use no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies, so no consent banner is needed.
4. Legal bases
We process your data to: serve and protect the Site, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); answer your requests, based on legitimate interest or steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)); comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers acting on our behalf (hosting and CDN) and when required by law.
6. Transfers outside the EU
The CDN provider may process technical data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We keep technical logs for 3 months and email correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations, then delete them.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise your rights, write to [email protected].
